Photo Album and Slide Show
http://weeks.photosite.com/cervenka/ is where I will be storing photos once I have removed them from this web site. This photo album will contain photos from the Cervenka and Vondra family records. Soon I will be posting some photos that we are still trying to identify family or friends. Make a bookmark of this site. Note that you can select the photos as a slide show.

Aunt Elaine (Cervenka) Harris 2003 in front of Vesecky'y Bakery in Ciecro, IL (just outside of Berwyn) while she was on a trip back home and down memory lane with her daughter Susan (Harris) Deierlin and grandaughters, Melissa and Lori Deierlin. This bakery makes the most delicious salt rolls that melt in your mouth. Elaine had her wedding cake made by Vesecky's. 6634 W. Cermak Road. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/pacificnw/2001/1202/taste.html is a story on the internet that you may want to read. Nothing tastes so sweet unless it comes from Vesecky's
Mildred (Vondra) Cervenka 8th grade graduation photo. This is the highest grade that she completed. However, she had a brilant memory. As I remember my gradmother knew the capitol for every state, she spoke and wrote both Cezch and English perfectly. Her culinary skills were above everyone. She could make dumplings so light that she would use a piece of thread to cut them. When she made pastry she would only use butter and cream the butter with a forlk until perfectly lump free. She would never use margarine for baking. If you have any culinary skills or hobbies perhaps it is in the genes.
2003 Elaine (Cervenka) Harris and niece Jamie (Cervenka) Weeks in Mt. Pleasant, MI at the home of her Aunt Elaine. Many thanks go to Elaine as over 200 photos of the Cervenka and Vondra families come from her private collection. My 2004 summer visit will always be remembered. Thank you Aunt Elaine - Love Jamie
